Our Strength About 2W Series Fluid Solenoid Valve
2W Series Introduction:
2W solenoid valves just have two ports, they are also called as 2/2 solenoid valves or 2-position 2-way solenoid valves. They can be made in two functions, normally closed and normally open.
This series of solenoid valve can be used with 0 psi working pressure. Nevertheless, while they don’t require pressure from the working medium to remain open or remain closed, these semi-direct lift valves may require some auxiliary function from the flow of the working medium in order to the initial opening or closing.
Some gravity flow applications may be difficult to overcome the static friction of the seal within the valve while initial opening or closing and thus the valve may can not function properly in some low flow or low pressure working conditions.
2W solenoid valves can be chosen in a range of materials including brass, stainless steel and plastic. And they are suitable in using the various mediums such as air, water, oil and gas.
What’s more, if you want to use steam in your equipment, you can choose the 2L series. And the specialist valve is available for highly demanding applications, ATEX certification for hazardous area duty is been included.
About the valve body:
With regard to the valve body, under the condition of the same screw thread size, the product we provided has a larger internal space of the valve body, so as to allow a larger flow of medium to flow in.
The appropriate thickness of the pipe wall of the valve body also makes the valve body more firm, prolongs its service life and is not easy to be damaged.
Moreover, we use all brass instead of kirsite, which has high strength, high hardness and strong corrosion resistance.
About the diaphragm：
For diaphragm, there are three materials to choose from.
NBR (Nitrile): Which has excellent oil resistance and abrasion resistance, anti-static resistance. It is suitable for oil medium.
EPDM (EPDM): Strong oxidation, ozone and erosion resistance. It is suitable for steam medium.
VITON: Good thermostability, weather resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance. It is suitable for high temperature, gas medium and vacuum.
About the coils:
As for coils, our products have more turns than similar products, so they have high power and are not easy to generate heat. Generally, there are three kinds of coil materials on the market: pure copper, copper-clad aluminum and the worst aluminum coil. We use the pure copper coil, so that the performance is very good.
About coil use, the coils are designed to withstand heat build-up from continuous use as long as they are exposed to ambient and not insulated in order to dissipate heat. Although they can be used continuously without shutoff, it will reduce the life of the coil to operate them constantly.
DC valves will experience more rapid heating than AC valves due to the higher amperage required to operate them. The rated max power consumption often only occurs when the valve operates near the maximum pressure. When no pressure is applied, the valve’s power consumption is about one third of the max power consumption.
About the core body:
As for the core body, our 2W series adopts a split structure, and the pilot head is made of stainless steel. Some businesses in the market may change the stainless steel pilot head into copper material. And with a stainless steel pedestal, the valve’s structure can be more firm and avoid the possibility of leakage.
